The Ra 120 was a HF manpack set developed in the late 1950s and used in the Swedish Forces for short range and medium range R/T and CW communication. A pedal generator is part of the complete station and was used either to provide HT for the transmitter RF power stage or to charge the 7.2V battery. The station may be used for simplex or full duplex using a separate aerial and aerial tuning unit. The frequency tuning accuracy is +/-1kHz.

Separate transmitter and receiver
Powered by 7.2V NiCad battery
Transistorized HT inverter
Miniature battery type valves. Transmitter RF output valve QQC404/15
Pedal generator must be used when using high power transmitting
Separate aerial tuning unit allows use of various aerials ranging from a 1.2M rod to a dipole
