USSR VHF transceiver type R-105M

The R-105M/108M/109M family of transceivers were developed in the 1960s. The sets were used in very large quantities in the Warsaw Pack countries primarily by Infantry for Company to Battalion communication. It replaced the R-105D/108D/109D family of transceivers which had similar technical specifications.

• Frequency range R-108M 28-38.5MHz
• Frequency range R-109M 21.5-28.5MHz
• RF output approximately 1 Watt.
• Modulation FM. R/T only.
• Pencil tubes are used with transistor invertor.
• Powered by two sets of 2.4 NiCad batteries.
• Replaced by the R-107 series.
