USSR VHF Transceiver R126.
The USSR R-126 is a small short range VHF FM transceiver.
It was used as a manpack set for Platoon to Company communications.
The R-126 replaced the R-116.
- Frequency range 48.5-51.5MHz.
- Modulation FM R/T only.
- Powered by 4V Silver Zinc battery
- RF output approximately 0.3W
- Pencil tubes are employed.
- High tension is obtained from transistor invertor unit.
- Uses single earphone with a cheek microphone.
