USSR VHF Transceiver R-809M2.
The USSR R-809M2 was a portable ground VHF AM air transceiver.
It was a further development of the R-809M and fully transistorised.
- Frequency range 100-149.975 MHz in 25kHz steps.
- Channel spacing 25kHz.
- Modulation AM R/T only.
- RF output approximately 0.5W.
- Powered by 12V NiCad battery or mains supply unit.
- Aerial was a 63cm vertical tape aerial fixed on the top of the set or an external discone aerial.
